She came to Agape Center Lynchburg for the first time last Saturday. Not knowing what to expect, she was a little nervous, yet she'd heard that the folks at Agape were very helpful. After meeting with a mentor and shopping for food, clothes, and a few other necessities, this sweet lady drove around back to pick everything up.
As servers loaded her items into the car, one handed her a bag full of everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, including a gift card for a turkey, ham, or produce. She was stunned. She put her hands on her knees and bowed her head. As tears ran down her face, she said, "I didn't know what I was going to do for Thanksgiving for my family. Thank you! Thank you" THANK YOU to everyone who donated to Agape Center Lynchburg this fall. God used your gifts to make the seemingly impossible possible. You have touched lives very deeply.
