Our Beginning...

In 2013, Tabitha North began collecting items for the needy inside her own basement. She then joined forces with WarmStreets Ministry, a nonprofit that provides furniture to families who have escaped abuse, to donate the items. In 2019, after spending a year serving with Agape Center SML in Moneta, VA, North was named Director of the Agape Lynchburg Center, a new nonprofit that provides food, clothing, furniture and household items to those in need which include families in Central and Southwest Virginia. Now, the Agape Center Lynchburg team partners with churches and volunteers in the local area to provide items for those in need. Donated items are accepted and then provided to those who need help in their building at 3026 Carroll Avenue. Lynchburg, Virginia.
