OUR STORY

How we started...

In 2013, Tabitha North began collecting items for the needy inside her own basement. She then joined forces with WarmStreets Ministry, a nonprofit that provides furniture to families who have escaped abuse, to donate the items. Recently, North was named executive director of the Agape Lynchburg Center, a nonprofit that provides food, clothing, furniture and household items to needy families in Central and Southwest Virginia. Now, the Agape Lynchburg team partners with churches and volunteers in the local area to provide items for those in need. Donated items are facilitated in their new building at 3026 Carroll Avenue. Lynchburg, Virginia.

Our Mission...

Agape Lynchburg's mission is to reflect God’s love by giving of ourselves and our resources.

Our Vision...
